Feeding the community. Together.

Established in 1990, the Kehilat Food Pantry is a branch of the Kehilat Sephardim of Ahavat Achim synagogue. Initially organized to help those from the former Soviet Union who lived under oppression and persecution, the facility has since expanded its outreach to the Queens community with its Food Pantry Program.
The Kehilat Food Pantry has its existence over 34 years and now stands as the third largest Kosher Food Pantry in the United States. It is a Non-Profit Pantry that primarily relies on monetary donations and the contributions of community volunteers. Each effort is placed into preparing and distributing over 15,000 food packages every month which consist of vegetables, produce, and canned goods.

Our Mission

Kehilat Sephardim Food Pantry aims to end hunger in the surrounding Jewish / Immigrant communities and beyond by providing Kosher and assorted goods multiple days a week via an open market and client choice system where all of our food is visible and clients can choose what they would like to take for themselves and their loved ones.

Donate Today

As a non profit community organization, we are constantly striving to end hunger in our community and help mobilize volunteers to help us with this goal. With everything going on in the world and our city, we try to be the beacon of light that New York needs. However, we cannot simply rely on food and volunteers alone. Our pantry also relies on people like you to help us continue serving our clients and community. Please help by clicking the donate button and sending a donation to help support our pantry’s operations. Every bit helps and all donations go to helping to further improve our service to our clients and community. Even the smallest donation can make a HUGE difference.

Israel is under attack! Our volunteers are in urgent need of safety equipment, medical supplies, first aid kits and more. Our People are in need of Food facilities and Clothing. Help support our campaign to raise funds for SUPPORT.

WE NEED YOUR HELP! THEY NEED YOUR HELP. ITS ONE FAMILY ONE HOME.
